Back in Boston again. I should have been listening to that Elton John song "Holiday Inn" when I landed at the airport on sunday. Why? Because the lyrics as follows: 'Boston at last and the plane's touchin downnn'. Yeah. So Boston at last and the plane touched down and now I've been back for two days and I'm back to my routine of sitting alone in my room at my computer watching some dvd and updating this silly blog. :)

I had originally thought - because I ride the short bus apparently and didn't pay any gdamned attention to when review boards actually were - that i would be home 6 weeks from now or so. However, if all goes as planned (since boards officially run from april 21-may 9) i will be home by the 24! 8D april 24 is less than a month away. How freakin exciting is that?

Also, please note that I will be GLUED to the tv april 24 at night because it's the return of Grey's Anatomy!!! McDreamy for the freakin win!

Soooo I got a few coolio things over spring break.

1. a man wallet! you know, like skinny wallets that men have and they just shove 'em in their pockets... women always get big-ass bulky huge wallets that you cant even fit in a pocket. so my man wallet is freakin awesome. it's leather. it smells like leather. it fits in my back pocket. it's got a tree on it. and it was $9.95.

2. bright blue adidas shoes. i can't find them freakin ANYWHERE online though (much like my manwallet *scowl*) so pictures of that will be posted later...

3. cute little flats (shoes) that are apparently called 'skimmers' and yet again i cannot find pictures of them on the internets! :(

4. a handy dandy 32-oz Adidas water bottle. weeee

5. a neck pillow thing... you knoww the ones you use on ze airplanes...

first college spring break

Sitting in my hotel room in Monterey, Calif. enjoying the last bit of daylight coming through my window (it's Eastern exposure) and wishing vacation would never end. Obviously that's an absurd thing because after a while it would get incredibly boring. But now and then I feel like putting my feet up on a chair in a fancy hotel and listening to Elton John and doing nothing unless I feel like it and.... yeah. Like I said though, after a while of that, it would get really boring.

Got a pair of Adidas adistar shoes at the Camarillo outlet mall yesterday. They're awesome. They're blue and brown and I heart them ( like i heart all of my shoes). Went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium today, as well as finding a Peet's Coffee & Tea ( my employer) about a mile from my hotel. Exciting! Well, exciting to be tired and to drink lots of caffeine weeee....

This is my schedule for my spring break:

nine inch nails: Halo 26: Ghosts I-IV

i woke up today feeling a little awkward. wandered around in my pajamas for a bit, then grabbed my phone from its hiding place under my pillow.... opened the phone. it said i had one new voicemail. and just like that, from shitty beginning of the day to a voicemail from keara telling me that there was a brand new Nine Inch Nails album...

This being said, and the knowledge that I am a HUGE nine inch nails fan and have been for like three years.... THIS WAS THE FIRST I HEARD ABOUT IT. wtf trent wtf?! *shakes fist in trent reznor's general direction*

However, it is RAD. AWESOME. AMAZING. FREAKIN COOL.

it's a 4-part, 36 song album called Ghosts I-IV. And oh yeah, it's what EVERY nin fan has been waiting for.. for like FOREVER: it's entirely instrumental. That's right, kids, it's like Still but with 36 NEW songs instead of only five new songs.

plus el rezzo himself isn't as gigantic and hulk-like as he was before. which in my book is exciting because trent reznor is much more attractive when he has a neck. it's like i can has cheezburger? but instead, i can has neck? 8D yeah very few people will understand the jokes on here. *cough*
